Why should we thank GMA? She stole the presidency then she should do the job of the president. It is the number one role of leaders to serve the people. Thus, these leaders should not be displaying such kind of tarpaulins or advertisements. Something that they are using for their campaigns or to make people think that they are doing their jobs. We should be able to know if a certain leader is good if we see it in his/her ways. We should be able to see improvements without them having to give emphasis to what they’ve done.

The same goes for those signages which says “This is a project of Cong. Blah Blah” or “Ito ay proyekto ni Tong-gressman Blah Blah”. It is not a certain leader’s project unless s/he is the one who gave fundings for such developments. The funds they are using for these projects, which they are trying to take credit, are from the taxes that the citizens pay. Therefore, signages should go as such “Ang proyektong ito ay pinangunahan ni Congressman Tralala”. Fair enough.
